Announcing Kama Games, the developer of Texas Poker, has released a unique product for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. The application is a club community of poker lovers who get together from around the globe to play and talk about poker. To help celebrate and promote the new launch, developers are offering a weekly iPad giveaway to coincide with their International Poker Days elections.

Texas Poker is one of those apps destined for success because it’s based on true passion. Kama Games developers love poker. They love to play it, they love to talk about it and they love to share it with like-minded people.

Pavel Egorkin, one of the developers, explains more, “We love poker and think that it is a really great intellectual sport. It’s all staked on chance, experience and psychology. We were playing in online poker rooms but didn’t like that. They’re filled with professional poker players with bots and software. We decided to create our own poker club where we can play poker, meet our friends and sharpen our skills.”

Today Sarsoft released its new version of Geotag Photos 2.1 – iPhone application for automatic geotagging of photos taken by any (DSLR or compact one) camera. This new version supports iPhone OS 4 multitasking, so that it can run on background, when user is using any other application. As our celebration of iOS 4 release will be full version of Geotag Photos on Wednesday 06/30 for $0.99 (USD) only.

Geotagging of photos is getting more and more popular – with support of photo organization software (Apple iPhoto, Aperture or Google Picasa) or social online services (like Flickr) it helps people to improve organization of their photos and share them together with location data. However, most cameras cannot record location itself, as this would require a costly, built-in GPS system. Geotag Photos provides a simple solution to this problem. It uses the GPS capabilities of the iPhone to record a log of the user’s location at specified time intervals. Sarsoft’s desktop app then uses the uploaded log to match log entries with the time each photo was captured by any (DSLR or compact one) camera.

New version of Geotag Photos is using multitasking functionality of iPhone OS 4. User can start Geotag Photos to automatically store their locations in specified time intervals, but this application is not required to run on foreground any more. “We’ve tested more methods how to run Geotag Photos on background and choose best one to preserve iPhone battery life”, said Jindrich Sarson, company director of Sarsoft.

Tropical Software today announces TopXNotes touch for iPhone and iPod touch is now available in the Apple iTunes store. This is the first of a series of companion products we plan to release for Apple touch devices. TopXNotes touch features basic note creation and editing in landscape and portrait modes, emailing a note from TopXNotes touch, backup/restore to the device, clickable hot links, and note synchronization (NoteSync) with TopXNotes for Mac. Now you can have your notes “on the go”, create new notes, edit notes, delete some and keep them in sync with your Mac’s notes.

The release of TopXNotes touch for iPhone and iPod touch compliments the release of TopXNotes 1.6, the latest update to its award-winning personal note manager for Macintosh. When combined with just released TopXNotes for Mac 1.6 customers can synchronize notes between one Mac and multiple devices running TopXNotes touch including iPhone, iPod touch and/or iPad.

First and foremost, and probably the easiest way to do it, would be to get on your computer, head on over to Apple’s website, and get your pre-order on right then and there. You won’t have to worry about lines, crazy customers or employees, and you’re guaranteed delivery on its release date. So, again, no lines or general craziness. Though, you will have to sit at home and listen to all those people who got it before you, because they did brave those lines and what not. But, we’re sure you can handle it. You could also head into an Apple Store, but they’ll just put you at a computer, where you’ll pre-order it from Apple’s website. So, pick your poison.
