Knag Enterprises today is pleased to announce the release of Download with Dropbox. This useful utility that serves as a download manager, then uploader that enables users to save, view, and share any downloadable video, picture, document, or music file straight from an iOS device to a Dropbox directory. This functionality enables iOS users to experience working from a fully functional and more open cloud structure than iCloud.
Download with Dropbox actually provides more options than Apple’s upcoming iCloud service as users are able to download an audio lecture file from anywhere hosted online as opposed to only being able to sync their iTunes content with iCloud. This fluid app opens up iOS devices in many ways, and could reduce the users need to be tied to a Mac or PC.
The Universal Download with Dropbox App provides several features that make the downloading and uploading effortless. For instance, the App will automatically paste copied content into the URL field. With less than three taps, the app will begin to download the file, then immediately upload the file to Dropbox. In addition, Download with Dropbox provides a fully functional web browser so the app user does not need to leave the app to search for content to download. The app is fully functional in the background so users have the freedom to continue to use their iOS device while the file transfers to Dropbox.

Gp Imports today is pleased to introduce Email Photo and Video Downloader Lite 1.0 for iOS, their free utility that will automatically search through all the user’s saved emails, locate all the photo and video attachments, and produce a scrolling photo album of every item found. Ideal for finding and organizing photos lost amidst thousands of emails, Email Photo and Video Downloader will easily recover every photo or video received through email. The app is compatible with most email servers and can be set to search overnight if the user has more than one or two gigabytes stored in their email library. Having created a scrolling photo album of found pictures and videos, users may choose to export individual items, groups, or the entire album to the iOS Photo Library or to email, at each photo’s original, full resolution (export capabilities require an in-app purchase to upgrade from the Lite to the Standard version of the app).
Over years of receiving emails, many users receive hundreds or thousands of photos and videos. Unfortunately, there has been no way to sift through years of emails to recover these forgotten memories. Now, Email Photo and Video Downloader Lite can be set to “crawl” through any collection of saved emails, patiently looking for photos and videos. Searches may be interrupted and re-started, and because the app was developed using “rEmail,” it currently supports: Gmail, and G-Apps for your domain, Rackspace (Email Hosting) or any other IMAP service such a Mobile Me, MSN, GMX, and Microsoft Exchange servers with IMAP Enabled.
Once the app has completed its search, it produces a scrollable album of reduced size photos. Users can browse through the album and may optionally export the picture or video from the original email to their iOS Photo Library or an email account. There are hundreds of apps available now to sort, catalog, annotate, organize, display, enhance, and print photos saved to the iOS Photo Library.
