Wirefly - America's Trusted Source for Cell Phones

An interesting rumor has surfaced today, with certain retailers in Australia receiving this box. The box has an ominous warning on the front, which clearly says if you open this box before June 10th, you will be on Apple’s bad side. The contents in the box are subject to a non disclosure agreement, so if you were theoretically brave enough to open the box, you could legally tell about what you saw.

The date is what gives this rumor legs though. Unless you have been living under a rock for the past three months now, then you know that the 3G iPhone is rumored to drop on June 9th. Seeing as how the box is marked June 10th, it clearly falls in line with the release date. This all leads us to believe that the box in fact contains the new iPhone.

The thing is this is not confirmed. It could be a hoax, or real. Until we actually see the interior of this box though, then we are not going to know.
