Say the name Bose to your average gadget hound and they will think of expensive products that tend to sound good. That is an accurate description of the latest product from Bose that has debuted today called the SoundDock 10.

The SoundDock 10 is an iPhone and iPod speaker dock that promises big sound from a smallish 9″ H x 17″ W x 10″ deep docking station. The dock uses new Bose tech including a smaller waveguide that has been reduced from 75″ to 52″ for this product without affecting the sound quality.
Bose is also using a new woofer design that is small, but able to produce bass levels more like much larger speakers. The device can charge and play music from any dockable iPhone or iPod and has a video out to send video to your TV. The downside to the SoundDock 10 is that it retails for $599.
