While the Apple iPhone doesn’t have the worlds best camera, it takes decent photos and I do use it quite often. It’s also very frustrating as there are absolutely no controls for the camera except orientation and the ability to snap the photo. What is especially frustrating is that it’s sometimes impossible to hold the camera steady and press the shutter button to take a photo in bad lighting conditions. Pressing the shutter button causes the camera to shake, and I end up having to retake the photo over and over again.
FotoTimer allows intervals of 2, 5, 10 and 20 second increments before it releases the shutter. That means you could actually do a group photo with your friends and get in the picture as well, as long as the camera is situated in a position where it can free stand on it’s own. The addition of a count down beep gives you an audible signal of when the iPhone’s camera will take the picture. This can be turned on and off as needed. There is also a function to auto save the photo or to retake the photo which is a nice touch. This function can also be turned on or off as needed.
