I normally buy games from the App Store, but after seeing the video that follows of Koi Pond, I may need to reconsider. Currently on the iTunes App Store, the paid application that has the top spot is Koi Pond.

And I’m not just talking about the #1 app this week. Koi Pond has consistently held the top spot for several weeks and only dipped once or twice. It might seem strange that such a simple app would be so popular, but the response the user experiences when touching the water must be the most soothing thing to ever hit a mobile phone.

Blimp Pilot’s Koi Pond only costs $0.99 and you can find it under the Top Paid apps section at, of course, number one.
