Mophie will launch its Juice Pack Air, a rechargeable external battery (as well as a case), for the iPhone 3G. Compared to the current model (called 3G Juice Pack), the new model offers better and full protection, integrated power switch, thinner and light-weight.

This looks so cool, but then I saw the battery capacity… 1200 mAh… are you kidding me? Why could they have not just designed the first version like this one where the TOP IS COVERED and kept the battery capacity like it was? This won’t even fully charge my iPhone once. Useless!!
