In an attempt to address customer questions regarding why they don’t carry the iPhone 3G, Verizon has concocted a document that attempts to debunk several myths about the iPhone 3G. And though the document could be a fake, it has quite an attacking tone.

The document acts as a briefing to Verizon employees who may not inherently know the iPhone’s shortcomings. The myths that are debunked include that the iPhone is now twice as fast, half the price and that the data plan covers all data.
I know these are meant to be jabs at the iPhone 3G, but don’t they seem more like jabs at AT&T? They all pretty much have to do with the phone service aspect, not the device itself. So much for attacking the iPhone!
