Before I was a full time geek, I spent many years working in the health care field. One of the classes I hated the most in college was pharmacology. Learning all the possible interactions to different medications was more than I really wanted to know. I only had to learn a small portion of the drugs, I feel for doctors and pharmacists that need to know most all interactions.

WebMD has announced a new and free application for the iPhone in conjunction with Medscape that is available now on the App Store. The application puts the information doctors need to find drug interactions and more on the iPhone for easy access.
The Medscape mobile app has a database of 6,000 generic and brand name drugs along with supplements and antidotes. A full drug interaction checker is offered for combinations of up to 30 drugs and supplements as well. Other features include CME courses and access to medical news.
