If you do a lot of travelling and find yourself constantly searching for the nearest golf course, Carpe Diem Venture “Where to Golf” may just be that iphone app that you’re looking for. As I mentioned in the vid review, Where to Golf contains a database of over 19,000 golf courses in the United States.
Using the built in GPS of the iPhone, Where to Golf is able to tell you how far the nearest course is to your present location. Other useful information such as a website link, green fees are included if the course has provided them.

The other really useful feature is the fact that this app will dial the course’s phone number if you want it to and also show you directions on the iPhone’s map application.
